Broughton Community EV Chargers

(14.07.26 - Please note this page is not yet live and is being updated)

One of the Objectives in our Vision is to help reduce emissions by supporting the move towards Electric Vehicles. With

thanks to SSEN and TVBC  for providing grants, we now have 3 x 22kw EV Chargers available for community and public use. One charger will be dedicated for the use of the Village Bus, who, inspired by the message from BCE, have committed to be one of the early adopters of an electric community bus. The other two chargers will be for community use and general public.

These chargers are being run on a not-for-profit basis, we are looking only to cover the cost of electricity, insurance, maintenance and support. The team behind the charges are all volunteers.

The EV Chargers are owned by Broughton Parish Council, (with thanks for their support) and managed by BCE

SUSTAINABLE : The power supplier is 100Green who only buy power from sustainable sources. Every little helps

Operating the EV Chargers

These are Rolec Basic EV chargers, they're 'untethered' so you will need to use your own cable.

After connecting please press your card to the centre console screen and follow the instructions.

The chargers use the Monta backend software, so if you already have an account setup with them, please use the QR code on the side.

The current rate is 45p kWh

Support is available 24/7 from Monta on 0000000000

Please try not to leave your car on the charge stand for longer than needed for charging. There's normally a lot of parking space up here. Please make the facility available for others to use.
